“As a counsellor, my mission is to create a welcoming and safe environment where clients feel heard, respected, and affirmed. I aim to show up as my authentic self in order to encourage clients to feel comfortable enough to do the same. My approach is trauma-informed and relational, meaning that I value the collaborative nature of the client-counsellor relationship and will always ensure that we are moving at your own pace. I strongly believe that the therapeutic relationship can be one of the most powerful and transformative aspects of counselling. I have an interest in attachment and relational patterns, interpersonal dynamics, emotional regulation, and building resilience. Additionally, I have a passion for working with individuals who have experienced trauma and recognize the profound ways traumatic experiences can impact a persons sense of self. I combine an intuitive, person-centred approach with a variety of evidence-based modalities, including Emotion-Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, & Somatic Experiencing, to provide holistic care tailored to each client's unique needs."
