Natalie holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) and Bachelor’s degrees in both Education and Science (Psychology). She specializes in couples therapy and integrates the Gottman Method, Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT), and other evidence-based modalities into her work. Natalie approaches therapy with a trauma-informed, strength-based lens and places a strong emphasis on psychoeducation to help clients better understand themselves and their relationships.
She works with individuals, couples and families navigating issues such as divorce, separation with children, toxic or high-conflict relationships, blended families, multi-religious dynamics, intergenerational trauma, and mid-life identity or career shifts.
Natalie is also a mother to two amazing teenage daughters and a stepmother to three more equally amazing teens. She is a published author, podcast host, and avid reader who believes deeply in the healing power of humour, connection, and the occasional chai latte.

"I believe that everything is figure-out-able. Sometimes, we just need someone to help us sort through the tough parts. My approach to therapy isn’t about eliminating the hard thing—it’s about learning how to live with it in a way that feels more manageable, more meaningful, and more aligned with the life you want to live. I deeply believe in the power of psychoeducation. When you understand what you’re struggling with, you gain the insight and tools to start shifting your experience from the inside out. I specialize in working with couples. Using the Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT), along with other evidence-based approaches, I help couples strengthen their friendship, rebuild intimacy, and improve communication. Together, we’ll explore how attachment, trauma, and life stressors may be shaping your relationship—and how to move through them with more clarity and connection. Every couple is unique, so we’ll co-create a therapy process that fits your specific needs as a couple and as two individuals. I also support clients navigating complex issues such as divorce, separation with children, toxic or high-conflict relationships, blended families, multi-religious family structures, intergenerational trauma, and mid-life identity or career shifts."
