Rates & Fee Policy

Each of our therapists are registered with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC) as a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) or the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA) as a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC). Each therapist has also gone on to complete additional post-graduate training after their Masters education.

Our base rates are as follows, with minor variability depending on the counsellor.

Individual Counselling

Explore the complexities of your relationship within a safe and nurturing environment where both individuals are acknowledged and understood.

Family Counselling

Navigate how you relate to others based on your family dynamics and upbringing. We accommodate both parent-adult child relationships and non-monogamous arrangements seeking to navigate their interactions and connections.

ICBC Counselling

Supporting you on your path to recovery after a motor vehicle accident. All ICBC clients are pre-approved for 12 counselling sessions within the first 12 weeks from the date of the accident, with the possibility of additional sessions as needed.

CVAP Counselling

If you have been a victim of a crime in BC you may be eligible for counselling covered by Crime Victims Assistance Program. Learn more about your eligibility on our CVAP, please email us at info@blueskywellnessclinic.ca

$20 co-pay / 50 mins

As of January 1, 2025, counselling services offered by our therapists are exempt of GST. Other services such as documentation requests, supervision/consultation, and court appearances as required will still be subject to GST.

We happily accept Visa, Visa Debit, MasterCard, Debit Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, UnionPay, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. We do not accept cash at this time. All new clients are required to place a valid credit or VISA debit card on file to secure your booking. Please be advised that some claims only cover a portion of the counselling session fee; the remainder of our fee will be charged to the client privately after each session as a co-pay.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

If a session is cancelled for any reason less than 48 hours prior to the appointment or in the event of non-attendance, the full session fee applies. This is because it leaves a significant hole in the therapist’s day along with prep time that could have been used for another client. Alongside providing the best help for our clients, we also want to provide the best experience for our team members – which includes a consistent schedule.

Can I use my Extended Healthcare Benefits?

Yes! Many extended healthcare providers will cover a portion—or even all—of your session fee. Because every plan is different, we recommend confirming your coverage with your provider or HR team before booking if you are relying on extended benefits.

Blue Sky Wellness Clinic requires all clients to privately pay for their sessions at the time services are rendered, except for providers with whom we have established direct-billing partnerships (see the list below). Please note that not all insurance companies allow clinics to bill on behalf of clients. This does not mean you are not covered—only that you may need to submit your receipts for reimbursement.

Direct Billing Information & Eligibility

Blue Sky Wellness Clinic is pleased to share that we are now set up for direct billing with the insurance providers listed below. We anticipate more insurers will follow suit. If you believe your insurance provider allows direct billing but is not listed, feel free to email us at info@blueskywellnessclinic.ca and we can look into it for you.
