Therapeutic Modalities:
"I am an experienced counsellor that is passionate about supporting my clients in their journey to live joyfully and courageously. In the midst of life's hardships, I am privileged to be a source of encouragement for those who need it. I work with anyone who has experienced disconnect within themselves or the relationships around them. My goal is to elevate my client’s strengths and implement change where needed to accomplish one's goals.
My hope is to provide a safe and compassionate space for discovery and processing. I prioritize attending to my client’s past trauma to find acceptance. I lead my client’s in an exploration of their past, correct any internalized false narratives, and assist in the "re-learning" of effective thought processes to promote healing. I am a compassionate inquiry and strength-elevating practitioner that approaches counselling through a holistic blend of Lifespan Integration (LI), Cognitive Behavioural (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Narrative, Solution-Focused Therapy and the Gottman Method when working with couples."- Steph
