"I see the therapy room as a space to find empowerment for clients who are experiencing (or have experienced) disconnect, isolation, or trauma within themselves or their relationships. My goals for this space are to provide feelings of safety, non-judgment, and compassion so that clients feel they can explore and process their experiences and inner dialogue. I view the work of therapy from a systemic perspective, recognizing that all of our patterns and experiences are created in context – within the systems of family, culture, society, or others. My style is collaborative and conversational, prioritizing client exploration while leaving space for curiosity and carefully directed guidance. I believe the client has all the tools already within them to make meaningful change, and that my role is to support the client in finding their own strength. I am a practitioner that integrates many therapeutic approaches to suit the client and context, leaning most heavily on Person-Centred, Emotion-Focused, Cognitive-Behavioural, Somatic, and Adlerian therapies."
