Anya completed her Bachelor of Applied Sciences in Adult Development from the University of Guelph and her Masters of Counselling at City University of Seattle. She utilizes an eclectic approach that incorporates Relational Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), body-centred psychotherapy, play therapy and Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) when working with couples. Anya is dedicated to empowering her clients, guiding them towards healing and cultivating stronger, more meaningful relationships, both within themselves and with others.

"As a relational therapist, my primary objective is to bridge the gaps in connections, enabling my clients to rediscover the power of vulnerability and courage. I firmly believe that our lives are an intricate web of relationships – with ourselves, our bodies, and others – all providing opportunities to nurture love and a sense of belonging, ultimately enriching our life's purpose.

In working with couples, our collaborative journey is focused on cultivating connections through effective communication, equipping you with essential skills and tools to nurture the 'We' within your relationship, fostering healing and growth. During our sessions, I integrate body-centred techniques, internal family systems (IFS) approaches, and draw from the Gottman Method, tailoring our approach to your unique needs.

My holistic model centres on helping clients acknowledge and embrace various facets of themselves, extending acceptance and compassion to those parts that may feel disconnected. Through a holistic approach encompassing mind, body, and soul, I create a non-judgmental space where you can rediscover your true, authentic self and fulfill your life's purpose. My unwavering commitment is to guide both couples and individuals in reigniting and strengthening these profound connections."
